-Psychosocial determinants of health behaviors: self-efficacy, risk perception, social capital, parents’ involvement, community-based research, community psychology.

-Epidemiology of drug use, HIV/AIDS, and associated complications in the United States

-Behavior modification interventions aiming at preventing and controlling maladaptive illegal drug use consequences (e.g., HIV/AIDS) among minority youth.
